Payoneer is looking for a highly-talented Business Development Associate , based in our Tokyo office. The ideal candidate is energetic, motivated self-starter who can learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

During the 6-month contract period, you will identify, qualify and develop potential customers. Also, you will play an active role in building long-term relationships with top users by identify emerging business and collaboratively develop value propositions that address client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying the lead qualification of unverified leads to prioritize sales efforts
  • Research on new lead generation opportunities for direct selling as well as affiliate & partnership sales
  • Accomplish targeted sales goals and execute company’s business development plan
  • Work with the Business Relationship Management team and Biz Dev team to expand the business in Korea e-commerce and other verticals markets such as vacation rental, freelancer & exports etc.
  • Identify potential leads from relevant marketing campaigns and Payoneer’s database according to company’s annual strategies
  • Create and maintain call scripts, involving in sales process of qualified leads
  • Support company marketing events and attend others events in cross-border e-commerce industry
  • Skills, Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree holder or current Bachelor / Master Degree student
  • Passionate on E-commerce and fintech industry with experience as Telemarketing Sales or Inside Sales will be preferred
  • Strong desire to learn industrial best practices along with professional drive
  • Good team player and highly self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills (written, listening, speaking and reading)
  • Good command of Microsoft Office
  • Native in Japanese and Fluent in English
