Amazon Prime Video team is looking for a highly-motivated, innovative and results-oriented Sr. Originals Marketing Manager to join the team, and help grow our business.
The role will focus on the marketing and planning of our Exclusive and key Original TV shows and films. The role will span co-
ordination across a wide-range of cross functional teams and external partners including vendors, production companies and talent agencies.
You will be a successful marketer that delivers results and have worked for global brands or entertainment industry, agency or client side.
You will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have proven experience planning and executing large marketing campaigns across big cross functional teams, and will feel comfortable in negotiating with key business partners and global Amazon teams to gain alignment on marketing plans and ultimately manage all aspects of the project execution.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to prioritize and deliver on deadlines with minimal supervision, has the ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others and drive results.
1. Develop marketing strategy for Originals and Exclusive Contents including;
Customer / Market understanding
High level Communication and Touch-point Strategy
2. Campaign planning
Develop and manage overall marketing plans and schedule to ensure flawless execution of our Exclusive and Original TV shows and films from conception to launch
Partner with a wide-range of internal teams (from Marketing to Tech teams) to identify and prioritize needs for the Original show and ensure immaculate planning
Manage blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and meet committed delivery timelines
Document and present strategies and periodic updates to internal and external audiences.
Overall stakeholder’s management and project progress reporting on a regular basis
Work with internal Communication Design Team to develop creative assets
3. POC for show specific Marketing Partnerships, Production Studio, Production companies and talent agencies.
More than 7 years experience in developing and executing high-performing marketing campaigns working across large cross-
functional teams and external partners
Project Management Skills
Proven analytic capabilities with a data driven focus
Excellent communicator both verbally and written (Japanese and English) with an ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive).
Events planning would be advantageous
A deep understanding of digital products and interactive entertainment
Experience in the entertainment (Film / TV) industry; knowledge of the Japanese entertainment market
