Strategy : Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Bioinformatics products according to market conditions, customer needs and QIAGEN sales objectives.
Sales Revenues / Budgets : Meet / exceed sales targets through excellent execution of sales activities, eg. Product & technology presentations, customer seminars, conducting laboratory trials, hands-
on demonstrations, etc. To maximize revenues through focusing on product menu expansion and workflow selling from Sample to Insight.
Planning / Forecasting : Responsible for the monitoring of annual sales targets and revenue forecasts. Work with local partners to plan and execute sales & marketing strategies and activities according to QIAGEN policies and goals.
Management : Work closely and educate local partners to implement sales KPIs and activities.
Expertise : Understanding and experience in NGS technologies and Bioinformatic in both theory and hands-on is essential.
Good understanding of research trends and requirement in Clinical (eg. Oncology, Precision Medicine) and / or Life Science research sequencing (eg.
Gene Expression studies, microbiome, etc).
Ph.D, Master or Bachelor Degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related studies.
At least 3 years of experience in NGS sequencing laboratory, Bioinformatic core Technical Sales Specialist or NGS related positions.
Strong technical capabilities and able to build good relationships with customers.
Good understanding and hands-on competencies onNext Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies, workflows & applications.
Experience in NGS suppliers or Service Laboratory environment will be highly desired.
Strong presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
A strong team player.
