General Summary

  • Responsible to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategiess for specific CL category covering product / brand / trade / digital marketing fields to effectively achieve company’s short and mid / long term goals.
  • This person will lead required marketing executions from both ATL and BTL perspective
  • Partner with the Sales Force effectiveness, Strategic account management, CL Strategy, Data Science, Strategic Analytics & Insights and other required teams / stakeholders to manage seamless & unified executions and end-to-end holistic brand experience.
  • Also, will be responsible for relationship management with external agencies like brand, media, digital and promotion / production agencies to maximizing their capability, quality of work, efficiency to support achieving the company business target.
  • Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing executions through New Product Innovation or Demand Generation and Customized trade marketing plan for key accounts to achive reqired KGI / KPI in line with company business strategy and goal.
  • Support Senior Manager / Director to lead master brand equity building covering market / competitive / consumer analysis, value proposition dev., key product claim dev
  • Lead the execution of the IMC with creative dev / media PDCA and holistic tracking scheme for both business impact and brand health.
  • Lead trade marketing solutions for key customers by turning shopper insights into B&M retail and e-commerce experience in order to keep gaining marketing edge, advantage ahead of competition
  • Lead digital marketing executions including creating personalized targeted communication assets for defined high value audiences, using real-time data analytics to manage precision marketing in an agile manner.
  • Supervise Associate manager or Specialist for the defined area, i.e. IMC planning & development, Key contents development, trade marketing planning & development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales force effectiveness, Joint business planning, Strategic account management and CL Strategy team members to ensure that activation plans are aligning with strategy for each customers and are effective to achive defined goal.
  • Manage relationship with external partners such as agency and media to develop a new collaboration scheme and initiatives with ensuring sustainability of them.
  • Qualifications

    Key Requirements (skills, competencies, experiences, certifications)

    More than 4 years in the marketing experience at FMCG or other industory, consulting company or brand agency is required and at least 2 years people managerial experience is preffered.

    Experience as a assistant brand manager or brand manager at FMCG / CPG company, account lead / strategic planner for global brand management at agency / conculting company is plus.

    Must be comfortable with digital / data analytics, performance tracking with agile PDCA and advanced digital solutions or Mertech.

    Proactive self-starting strategist with a sense of responsibility and accountability to lead and deliver required strategies and executions in a cross functional team

    Strong leadership with massive passion to drive / implement innovative executions to win in the dynamic and competitive market

    A good motivator with proactive communication skills and influencing capabilities to engage, energize and harmonize people as a team beyond the function

    Strong Japanese + Business-level English in writing, verbal communication and presentation is must.
