About the Role

As a Sales Executive you will maximise total revenuepotential for Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono across the MICE, Rooms & Eventsmarket segments with a focus on the acquisition of new business, and also theretention and development of existing business, in line with personal businessplan goals.

Reporting to the Director of Sales you will be responsible foridentifying year round business opportunities by building and maintainingstrong relationships with internal and external clients, market and industrysources.

This varied and dynamic role provides a chance todevelop your Hospitality career within an international company.

Some of the responsibilitiesinclude :

  • Balance yield and volume of business within theMICE, Rooms and Events markets
  • Prepare submissions for MICE, Rooms & Eventenquiries in both Japanese and English
  • Canvass new business through cold calling and salesappointments
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team onsales leads to maximize conversion
  • Pursue market intelligence and businessopportunities to identify opportunities for revenue development
  • Set and achieve sales targets in line with thebusiness plan
  • To deliver the brand promise and provide exceptionalclient services at all time
  • Qualifications :

  • Fluent Japanese and English Language ability bothspoken and written.
  • Ideally with a relevant degree in Hospitality / Tourism management or related
  • Previous sales experience with a five-star hotel orevent venue with extensive knowledge of event sales & service operations
  • Ideally have sound knowledge of Japanese domesticMICE, Rooms and Events markets
  • A strong attention to details, exceptional organisationaland time management skills
  • The ability to create a positive first impressionwith an understanding of the importance of five-star grooming standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills inorder to build rapport with clients

    Qualifications

    Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Sales Executive or Assistant Manager in hotel operations.

    Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
