The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a PR & Analyst Relations Specialist to join us in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you'll assist with the coordination and rollout of various communication activities to create awareness of our company, product, and solutions offerings.
You'll ensure that media and industry analysts have a sound knowledge of Red Hat so that they can assess the company, its strategies, and its solutions appropriately and give accurate information to the market and industry and their clients.
Red Hat works closely with media and industry analyst companies to inform and educate them on Red Hat products, services, and customer stories.
You will be the point of contact between internal stakeholders and external agencies. As part of this role, you will work closely with the Japan Field Marketing team and also work in collaboration with U.
S. headquarters and the Asia Pacific (APAC) communication team, and PR agencies. You will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver exceptional work on message, on brand, and on time.
Primary job responsibilities
Work with regional country leaders and internal stakeholders like Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to support and deliver in-country public relations activities managing press conferences, media interviews, and press releases to ensure gaining the share of voice and corporate reputation creating media coverages
Work with regional, U.S. and APAC product, solutions architects, and consulting teams to manage analyst briefings, inquiries, and consulting sessions to ensure that analysts are up-to-date with Red Hat technologies and solutions
Identify and develop engagement opportunities arising within Red Hat and media and analyst groups, also build personal relationships with tier 1 media and leading analysts so that you are viewed as a trusted face of Red Hat
Serve an active role in high-profile corporate events like Red Hat Summit and Red Hat Forum related to country leader messaging, media and industry analysts activities collaborating with regional field marketing team, U.
S. and APAC Communication teams
Manage PR and event agency
Plan and deliver mid and long-term communications strategy to effectively maximize the return on marketing investments based on digital feedbacks in data-driven manner
Collaborate with teams and manage multiple, simultaneous projects in a timely manner with additional duties to be assigned as required
3+ years of public relations or analyst relations and marketing communications experience, ideally in a multinational technology company
Solid understanding of today's enterprise IT software market
Professional written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and business level English
Ability to effectively understand the regional business goals and strategies to create communications programs and strategically support them
Familiarity with marketing tactics, creative processes, and digital marketing
Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Motivated problem solver with the ability to manage projects on your own as well as on a project team
Ability to work on multiple projects with changing priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
