He will be responsible to determine the underlying root cause of the alarms by monitoring them via NMS and provide solutions based on the investigations done.
Key responsibilities : Engineer Transmission is responsible for real-time operations on various multi-technology, multi-service and multi-vendor cable or fiber networks.
Responsible for Day to day technical support for ongoing network incidents and changes, ensuring clear communication to all parties and acting as the control point for escalation.
Executing predefined tasks and measures, to prevent potential issues in the network Defining and measuring proactive service improvements to ensure continues quality increase.
Required skills : Working level knowledge of Japanese (JLPT 2nd or higher) and English (TOEIC 800pts or higher) essential Should have minimum 3 - 6 years of experience Fault Management and Network Monitoring.
Relevant industry and domain knowledge in Telecom Networks and OSS systems is a must Experience in monitoring Fault management systems - Alarm Monitoring and Trouble ticketing (Incident management) related Exposure to Telecom network performance management and Network Management Systems.
Unix / Linux OS commands Knowledge of defect tracking systems like JIRA / QC etc. Telecom, OSS domain Exposure to NMS / EMS Preferred skills : Need skills in the NOC operations.
Knowledge in Telecommunication and Telecom Networks. Exposure to southbound systems like NMS / EMS Profile is of NOC Engineer
