Job Description :
We are looking for technology manager for Rakuten’s smartphone based service, Super Point Screen .
The development team works closely with the business department, and our style involves developing / improving new functions through active discussions.
We are currently focusing on O2O business utilizing Geo data and developing a service that uses locational data.
Therefore we are looking for technology manager that can provide solutions based on statistical and locational data, while running speedy development cycles.
Service management(project planning, making decision, project management)
Group management (composed of 6 people, main manager tasks are people management, budget management, making decision, talent training management)
Making development strategy with business side
Sharing what department manager and section manager want and need with members appropriately
Minimum Qualifications :
Have working experience as development section more than 3 years
Have experience of managing more than 10 members
3 years skill and experience of project management
The knowledge of Web apps
Able to work some tasks in parallel
Able to prioritize each task and work efficiently
Have decision-making skills
Able to propose not only Kaizen but new idea which creates a synergy effect among existing HR services
Preferred Qualifications :
Have working experience at similar sized company as Rakuten
Have experience of studying abroad or long-term assignment in overseas
English (Overall - 4 - Fluent), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
