Position Summary :

As an important division of Rakuten Ichiba, we are in charge of products in three types of fields. Firstly, we provide internal business support systems for Rakuten Ichiba, ranging from the planning phase, all the way to the development and operations.

Secondly, we build base analysis systems to analyse sales numbers of overall and individual merchants. These two fields are not just for domestic market but also overseas markets.

The last one is to cooperate with business departments to estimate performance of new strategies and services, and to develop and operate required systems .

Because our services are the backbone of Rakuten Ichiba strategies , we are looking for someone who is able to transform business needs to system requirements.

In addition, the range of assigned tasks is broad, so we are looking for people with broad business knowledge and flexible imagination .

We are expecting candidates with passion for product development, those who are aiming for their own growth, and those with visions of being the best in the world.

We have a number of existing products and you will be working on their operation and improvement projects.

i.e. of development :

Salesforce automation system(SFA)

Customer relation management system (CRM)

Call Center support System

Data Infrastructure that gathers information from EC online system

Analytic tools for sales

Responsibilities :

Full responsibility of the product you are in charge of

Contribution to Rakuten Ichiba strategy and challenge through the products

Making the future roadmap of the product

Overseas Expansion of the product.

Minimum Qualifications :

Over 3 years experience in product management or equivalent

Ability to analyze business demand and to create system definitions and architectures based on it.

Ability to detect challenges and their solutions

Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in development of systems or products

Experience in strong sense of accountability

Experience in optimizing internal business operation

Experience in leading small team of several members

Languages :

English (Overall - 4 - Fluent), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
