Position Summary :

The Client Services Associate is responsible for providing exceptional support to Guardant Health Japan customers, the Guardant Health Clinical Laboratory, Sales Representatives, and our vendors.

The Client Services Associate must possess the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all individuals, including external customers and internal Guardant Health personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Perform all functions of the Client Services.
  • Collaborate with all team members in the Client Services.
  • Create and improve SOPs and explanatory materials to improve daily tasks and work processes.
  • Develop relationships with customers, in / external staffs located in and out of the country, and external contacts to respond to customer requests.
  • Receive and record requests from customers and external personnel.
  • If complaints are received from customers, and any problem cases occur, efforts will be made to resolve the complaints and problems.
  • Work with Laboratory to ensure that test processes are conducted, evaluated, and improved.
  • Monitor daily operations and measure the department’s productivity.
  • Respond and record requests and complaints from clients of Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs) and research projects, internal staff, and external contacts.
  • Once problem cases occur, collect and analyze the information with domestic and international staffs and external contacts and suggest solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive preparation necessary to conclude the contracts with research institutions for IITs and research projects.
  • Respond to inquiries throughout the testing process, from the test preparation to test result follow-up.
  • Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of clinical trials.
  • Basic knowledge of medicine, especially cancer treatment.
  • Troubleshooting skill
  • Business level of both Japanese and English (verbal and written)
  • Proficient level with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Education and Experience

  • BA / BS degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ Work experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, CRO as MR, CRA, CRC.
  • Additional Information

    Work Environment :

  • Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk / office environment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Employee may be required to travel to visit clients and to internal offices domestically and internationally.

  • Our office(s) are the basic work location of this position. However, work from home is acceptable if it is allowed or ordered by company to do so.
  • Employee needs to have a proactive attitude toward work and needs to be with flexible and cooperative behavior.
