Recently Rakuten has been doing a lot of branding activity including rebranding, sponsorship(NBA, GSW, FCB etc.) to enhance the brand globally.
Us brand team is playing a crucial rule of these branding activities. We are the core team to settle down whole Rakuten group's brand strategy, execute to enhance the brand both globally and domestically, determining the group visual identity.
We are the team to create brand management system which will be applied not only in domestic, but also in the globe. We are also the team to create a lot of brand asset so that Rakuten's identity could be expressed accurately.
We are looking for people who is willing to accept the challenge of managing such a big brand like Rakuten. You will experience big strategy planning & execution as well as a lot of very detailed operation.
The position requires very good communication skill, strategy planning & execution skill.
Be window person between HQ and each businesses branding PIC. Need to build and keep good relationship for better governance.
Build strategy, plan and execute it to help building the Rakuten brand accurately in the globe & Japan.
Cooperation with management on branding
Enhance the efficiency and output of current global brand management system.
Finding issue of our brand and take initiative to resolve the issue.
Working as PM to collaborate with designers to create brand asset, key brand creative based on proper brand strategy
Give necessary direction to the agency we work with. Build agency relationships and management of relationship
Create necessary document at a corp level such as RFPs, guidelines.
Persona Design, User Survey-based Scenario Design and User Needs Extraction
Create brand communication strategy and deploy to boost our business
Analysis of current issues of both corporate brand communication and BUs
Contents planning aligning with brand strategy and communication in terms of mid-term point of view
Interested in branding area.
Work experience in branding related area, have basic knowledge of branding, brand management, brand enhancement.(More than 3 years)
Excellent communication skills in order to coordinate with top management, overseas, external agencies, other departments.
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
Written and presentation skills
Good understanding of Microsoft office software.
Business level English
Business level Japanese
Work experience in global environment, know how to collaborate with overseas.
Knowledge of planning and execution of communication strategy
Familiar with working as a member of HQ department.

Experience on IT & digital-related industry
