Our team is looking for a talented language Translation Specialist to drive Japanese to English and English to Japanese machine translation improvements in partnership with the Product Management team.

Specifically, you will review Customer to CSA interactions on text-based channels (e-mail and chat), provide EN and JA translations of Customer to CSA and CSA to customer interactions, and inform possible machine translation improvement opportunities that will enhance the customer and Customer Service Associate experience.

You will be part of a global team whose innovations and strategies will influence what we build and how we surface information to solve customers’ issues globally.

A successful candidate is a native Japanese speaker who also speaks English, extremely detail oriented, an effective communicator, has demonstrated the ability to earn the trust of stakeholders across a cross-functional team of individuals, is data-driven, has a strong eye for opportunities.

You are customer obsessed and not afraid to get your hands dirty analyzing thousands of interactions. You are willing to experiment, fail fast, learn and iterate to improve.

You understand and account for the implications of your work to front-line operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Native speaker of Japanese language
  • Fluency in English
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-2 years of work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent ability to pay attention to detail
  • Proven track record of strong delivery of results by working both independently and collaboratively with global teams as appropriate
