Lumentum is recruiting for a passionate Account Manager who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers.
You will be responsible for developing the long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
Meet and or exceed annual account quota of AMADA
Meet and or exceed annual design win / design in objectives
Define and align account strategy, develop account plan, communicate explicitly the account strategy and plan within Lumentum organizations including upper management and all related functional groups, and execute the plan
Build a deep business relationship with customer’s operational layer to Top Executive layer including Chairman and CEO.
Effectively work with multiple levels within Lumentum and the account to drive all aspects of business activities to meet / exceed customer satisfaction
Manage all account activities including but not limited to specification reviews, quotation reviews, monitoring delivery and quality performance, design win / design in efforts, effective translation between customer and internal team with solution / result oriented and time manner
Identify and drive new product / revenue opportunities within the Account; communicate Account product support requirements to Lumentum Senior Management and appropriate Business Units personnel to develop new revenue opportunities as well as support current business and products
Drive closure on agreements on pricing and non-standard terms
Drive account and Lumentum technology / product roadmap alignment efforts
Escalate appropriately and facilitate escalations within the customer organization and within Lumentum red to support the Account and Lumentum business
Timely and accurate reporting of sales information including but not limited to account update, market trend, and competitor movement
Monthly forecasting and GAP analysis reporting
In time and on time update forecasting and align with the account, Lumentum management, PLM, and Ops for capacity and delivery planning
Update quarterly account / business plan
Establish periodical / regular call between customer and internal team, Pre meeting set up between Sales and Internal team for any customer involved meeting and / or internal alignment
Deep knowledge on Japan HPL in Industrial Machinery / Cutting market (ideally) & / or Semiconductor market.
Understands well a typical and unique business way of Japan local legacy type of customers including Distributors.
15 years Sales and Marketing experience. (Ideally with Technical back ground specially in LD)
10 years experience in people management experience with more than 3 direct report managements.
10 years experience in working in Foreign capital company in Japan sales branch office and doing business with Japan local OEM type of customers.
Logical way of thinker.
Comprehensive view ( Bird Eyes ). Strong leadership but with a good team worker with good personality to work with the others with respect.
Good in strategy planning and its execution. Proactive and Self-initiator with On-hands mentality.
Can handle Day-to-Day operational topics. (eg : forecast and P / O management, management meeting setup etc..)
Accountable with strong passion to accomplish his roles and achieve the targets.
Tackle with issue proactively with accountability and lead the team to fix it with new ideas or proposals.
Super crystal transparent in communication internally. Smooth English language to communicate.
Having sense of urgency to tackle with the issues / topic.
