Summary

Fuji Speedway Hotel, Unbound Collection by Hyatt is currently seeking a Front Service Assistant Manager who will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

The Front Service Assistant Manager is responsible for all duties of the front service operation which includes : staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling.

The Front Service Assistant Manager should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities. In addition to assisting in the operation of the Front Service operation and guest services personnel, this position will respond quickly to guest requests and / or complaints in a friendly manner and ensure that appropriate action is taken to guarantee guest satisfaction.

This is a highly visible role within the hotel and offers the opportunity to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction at Hyatt.

Qualifications

  • Ideally with a university degree in Strategic Marketing or Hospitality / Tourism management.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Manager or Team Leader Front Service or Front Office in an international hotel
  • Well developed communication and customer relations skills.
  • Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are required
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese is essential
