The Accelerated Growth Team (AGT) is a strategic team designed to help Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB) with significant growth potential.

AGT specializes in building full-funnel digital marketing strategies to accelerate customer growth. As a Digital Marketing Strategist within AGT, you will identify and grow key customer prospects within a segment of the Google Customer Solutions ecosystem, to set them up for accelerated and sustainable growth on our platforms.

We are dedicated to growing the unique needs of advertising companies. Our teams of strategists, analysts, advisers and support specialists collaborate closely to spot and analyze customer needs and trends.

In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Identify highest potential SMB customers from our customer pipeline using various Google data.
  • Engage with the customer, and understand the customer's business and marketing objective clearly. Build trust with C-level stakeholders of the SMBs, and support them to grow to the next stage.
  • Propose and deliver strategic digital marketing solutions to accelerate customer's growth. Measure the result, and propose further growth options.
  • Collaborate with the Account Management team.
  • Manage business growth by building a pipeline of crucial customer prospects for short to long-term sustained performance.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in account management, sales or marketing.
  • Experience with developing and pitching solutions through various channels (over the telephone, email, in-person meetings) to prospects.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese fluently.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Knowledge of traditional and contemporary / online marketing strategy and tactics. Product knowledge across all digital advertising products areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to strategically assess and solve client needs via sales techniques and to achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Passion and curiosity for innovations in marketing and branding.
