Come join our team!The Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA) Program Engineer is responsible for the overall management and implementation of the LTSA including but not limited to the coordination of resources required to successfully implement the requirements of the LTSA contract.

This role will support the Orlando Service Manager with contract execution in Brazil. Power generation experience, GT experience, project management experience, Bilingual (English and Portuguese), knowledge of labor regulations and laws in the country is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manage country tool kit; develop selection and coalification of local suppliers in country, support coordination with team in US for exportation and importation activities, work with local entities on visas, payments to suppliers, etc. other.
  • Support LTSA team locally, in Brazil, with contract execution activity including customer meetings, suppliers discussion, tool kit refill, coordination required for importation and exportation, visas process, interface between LTSA PM and suppliers and customer ,etc.
  • Serve as the customer interface, work with labor suppliers and is responsible for ensuring parts / kits are readily available on site.
  • Interface with legal and finance to address questions / issues regarding the Brazil office and / or suppliers.
  • Vendor Management, Project Management and project cycle phase administration.
  • Resource management (allocation for different projects).
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and / or Human Resources.
  • Support ISO 9001 compliance and initiatives.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
  • Communicate effectively with subordinates and management at all levels.
  • Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of 3rd parties.

  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION :

  • Education and / or Experience : Bachelor's degree (BSME, BSEE) from four-year College or university; or at least seven (7) years related experience and / or training;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Language Skills : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Mathematical Skills : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Computer Skills : Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and basic database.
  • Soft Skills : Highly motivated person, positive attitude, multitasking , flexibility, good communication skills in English and Portuguese, teamwork, analytical thinking, leadership, problem solving, self-supervising, stress management, team player, trainable, Works well under pressure.
  • Technical Skills : Power generation experience, GT experience, project management experience, Bilingual (English and Portuguese), understand labor regulations and laws in the country.
  • Availability to relocate to the area or travel periodically to Site (Marlim Azul).
