We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales professional to join Guidepoint as the Head of Sales Japan in Guidepoint’s Tokyo office.
The Head of Sales will build, manage and run a growing Japanese sales team. Senior-level industry experience is a must, coupled with knowledge of selling into global and regional institutions and corporates.

What You’ll Do :
Reporting to APAC Director Head, you will -
Help to develop a sales strategy designed to achieve revenue targets and work in collaboration with the regional and global sales team
Be involved in strategic sales & account management planning from concept to execution across all industries in Japan; and deliver a commercial path to aggressive, yet achievable, growth and profitability of the company
Lead a team of sales professionals by setting the targets, vision and strategy for yourself and the team.
Provide strong leadership, mentorship and direction to achieve agree-upon targets and performance metrics.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients in Japan to proactively seek out new business opportunities.
Communicate new market developments to the internal teams.
Plan and deliver results in a highly demanding environment
What You Have :
9+ years of sales experience ideally coming from a Financial Services, B2B service, Consulting, Research or Information Services environment
Proven successful sales track record
Demonstrated team building and people management capabilities and track record
Ability in establishing effective relationships with stakeholders.
Capable to thrive within a fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial mindset, and an unwavering desire to succeed.
Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients across multiple sectors
Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management.
Clearly demonstrated ability to work independently and within teams.
A desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to travel regionally
University degree from a recognized institution
Native Japanese speaking with fluency in English
