What you’ll do
We are looking for the best and brightest minds to join our Automotive Business Unit in Tokyo or Nagoya, Japan. TomTom Automotive provides navigation solutions (maps, software and services) to the car industry.
The experience and future opportunities will include :
Lead the automotive sales with full responsibility for your sales accounts.
Manage overall relationship with customers in close contact.
Create and maintain a high-level contact network to best position TomTom for business development.
Develop new business by understanding complex eco-system.
Secure that global booking and achieve revenue targets; there is high growth potential in all regions and business areas.
Revenue forecast and follow-up.
New business booking.
Operational meetings with customers.
Regular meetings / calls with relevant team members overseas.
Program development follow-up in relation to the technical teams.
What we expect from you
Strong background in global B2B sales of complex products at the executive level with a proven track record in Automotive, IT, or Telematics.
Solid knowledge of the market ecosystem; a self-starter with cross-functional leadership and inspiring behavior.
Ability to develop and maintain the internal and external network with a problem-solving mindset.
Ability to anticipate, identify priorities and manage activities accordingly.
People (management) skills in an international context and multi-tasking activities.
Goal-oriented and result-driven, never-give-up attitude.
