Organization
Our department provides the Rakuten symphony Global Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) Centralized Platform to our customers around the world to help them onboard vendors and teams to use our DevOps services
Our Global CICD platform is a highly available, secure platform comprising a pre-integrated tools that are readily available for use by both internal teams and vendors around the world
Job duties
The Engineering Project Manager manages the projects, owned by our CICD Platforms, like system expansion, takeover of new solution, POCs.
Project management responsibilities include the coordination with stakeholders, scope confirmation and completion of projects on time.
Lead and direct the work of others based on your experience and success the projects.
Creating project plan, establish team, assign tasks, monitoring and reporting progress
Regular Reporting toward upper management.
Improve CI / CD tools integration / operations, and full automation of CI / testing by utilizing previous experience and empowering junior members
Develop, scale, and control strategies, standards, guidelines, governance of Continuous Integration systems
Join the ongoing design, implementation, and preservation of systems and tools across the cloud stack
Collaborate with internal development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end quality
Write and maintain documentation infrastructure
Align Resources for Troubleshooting issues along the CI / CD pipeline
Work directly with the third-party vendors to fix infrastructural issues
Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Minimum Qualification
Project Management experience in Telecom or Cloud and CICD
Able to delegate tasks based on ability of members
Proven working experience in project management
Excellent communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Preffered Qualification
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Have experiene with CICD (Jenkins, Sonarqube, Jfrog, Kubernetes)
