Responsible for all Line Maintenance activities performed at their assigned station and ensures alignment with our departmental vision, mission and goals
Ensure all work performed is in accordance with HAL Policies and Procedures and US and local nation regulatory requirements.
This includes but is not limited to : OEM Approved Technical Manuals (AMM, SRM, CMM, etc.) HAL Approved Manuals (GMM, MOPM, SPM, SPPM, GSM, JPM, etc.
Government regulations (FAA, OSHA, EPA, etc.)
May be required to audit and sign work records in connection with work performed and act as a liaison between vendors, DL and HAL
Provide oversight and ensure coordination and collaboration with HAL MOC, DL MCC, Maintenance Vendor and DL / HA Engineering to find best possible resolution to return AOS / AOG aircraft back into service in a safe and timely manner
Coordinate and collaborate with Reliability, Engineering and MOC to analyze and mitigate trends
Provide oversight and ensure coordination and collaboration between Maintenance Vendors and Planning (HA / DL) on daily / long range work packages and unscheduled maintenance events
Assist with M&E Safety related investigations
Assist with and provide oversight and guidance to ensure QA related investigations are completed and resolutions are found for any audit findings and CARs
Develop and maintain a standardized communication structure to ensure a cohesive workflow between station and vendor groups
Ensure Accountability protocols are implemented as required. This includes and is not limited to : Coaching : Discussions and mentorship Vendor Evaluations Disciplinary actions Rewards : Mahalograms, MVP, Kupono
Responsible to maintain operation within allotted budget : Variance explanations, Budget forecasting, Budget creation, Concur Verifies accuracy of labor and material charges on invoices received
Responsible to ensure all individual and vendor required training is current. This includes and is not limited to : Spotlight training Read & Signs Maintenance Tips Vendor training
Responsible for individual professional growth and development. This includes and is not limited to : Leadership training Enhanced technical training
Collaborate with Line Team members on the mission of continuous improvement. This includes and is not limited to : SOP development and implementation Process review and refinement Event review and lessons learned
Supervises vendors and maintains proper completion of A / C records and forms. Supervises vendors and processes HAL parts inventory at the station.
Completes all necessary computer entries
Responsible for the oversight and enforcement of the effective Maintenance Agreement at the facility assigned and negotiates settlements with vendors
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years maintenance supervisory experience
Well versed in regional customs, laws, and processes
Must be familiar with procedures applicable to the various phases of maintenance
Ability to assume responsibility for proper administration of policies and procedures
Ability to display maturity of action and judgment
Ability to work well under pressure
Good communication skills to include strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese / Korean (as applicable)
Good computer skills
Ability to travel frequently and be on-call
A valid A&P (Airframe & Power Plant) License
A valid passport and driver's license
Must be able to obtain an AOA (Airport Security) badge
Eligible to live and work in the Country of Station location
Domiciled in close proximity of the Station location or willing to relocate to the area
Experience on 717, 787, A321 and A330 aircraft
Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot aircraft systems to include electrical systems and avionics
Experience with Sceptre and TRAX
