The position :
Drive sales growth and optimize profit with assigned key accounts, and lead key account teams. Develop and manage sales plans for allocated key accounts with a balanced focus across all company offerings.
Location / department :
The position will be located at Tokyo which is in the heart of Japan where easy to get to by public transportation.
This position reports to Area Sales Director. In addition, the role will collaborate closely with other KAMs and Key Account team, Sales Managers, TSMs, CS and Account Managers.
Main Responsibilities :
Develop and lead the sales strategy for the designated customers and collaborate closely with the Account Managers and other relevant internal recourse.
Drive profitable sales growth by increased penetration towards the customers
Build the sales pipeline to hit the targets as specified
Be a role model to the sales teams by having extensive customer contact and deal closing focus
Secure multilevel entry points by using own and other internal resources ensuring wide customer relationships to increase sales.
Report on account performance, customer development and take corrective actions
Ensure customer deals generate the most optimal return by proactive contract management
Ensure full compliance with WSS Sales Governance
Ensure all customers have approved credit limits in place, and adhere to agreed payment terms and approved credit exposure limits
Ensure accurate and updated information on key accounts and local accounts in WSS CRM system including visit reports, opportunities, deals etc.
Implement company sales strategy, process, procedures, campaigns and initiatives
Work closely with the relevant Business Stream(s) to ensure that offer development is in line with the market requirements
Required experience and skills :
Bachelor degree. Lack of formal education can be compensated by relevant experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in sales and account management
Proven track record when it comes to sales growth
Ambitious and a strong desire for success
Proven communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Fluent Japanese and good command of the English language (verbal and written)
Preferably experience from working in the Maritime Industry
