The Role :
As an Art Director, you must have phenomenol conceptual and hands-on design experience, enticing showcase of portfolio of works in which drive brand market awareness and sales.
You have the ability to compile business requirements and market demands to a form of visual creative, capturing the feel of the end customers across various mediums and channels.
You are passionate about delivering the big picture, which branch off to creative tactics and solutions. You will work with highly capable team of art directors, producers, product managers and marketing managers to create exceptional designs that meet business requirements, online merchandising and sales.
You are highly collaborative creative leader, with a strong passion and proven record to work in agile, fast-paced environment
Great story teller, you confortabally communicate creative decisions logically with data points, experience and market / customer demand to back up your logics

Key Responsibilities :
Define business requirements into a form of a creative brief
Build creative strategy and directions specific to Japan market based on creative brief, while enhariting the global creative approach
Lead, direct and / or execute creatives for online and offline designs
Define creative message(s) which capture customer recognitions and interests, coherent across marketing channels
Direct stills and motion shooting
Manage external vendor selection, direction and communications, while distributing adequate updates to internal stakeholders
Co-operate with global creative team to leverage brand parity, and report local requirements
Create banner graphics which maximize traffic flow to the product page, by hypothesising testing points to test and learn winning banner templates

10+ years of relevant professional experience driving compelling creative strategy and design execution.
Experience writing creative briefs and creative proposals in English
Experience in art directing stills / video shoots
Hands on creative development for various mediums and channels, including high volume banner design production
Independent work force who understand the risks and difficulties, ability to manage priority based on business / customer impact and / or time
Ability to manage and refine creative workflow
Ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from merchandising, marketing, product management and development
Manage multiple projects at one time to make aggressive deadlines
Experience working with external agencies
Understanding of technical issues, design functionality and cross device / browser testing
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Excel
Fluency in Japanese and business level English
Experience in designing for e-commerce strongly preferred
Copy writing skills
