Primary Responsibilities :

  • Promote and sell NGINX 's products and solutions. Be the NGINX champion in Japan with a deep understanding of our technologies and value propositions
  • Build a short- and long-term pipeline that : ensures attainment of quarterly revenue goalsdrives improved linearity within the quarterdrives improved forecast accuracy
  • Develop and manage a pipeline to overachieve on sales targets
  • Develop a deep understanding of the strategies, projects, and initiatives being executed by your prospects and customers.
  • Position NGINX in the value chain of those strategies, projects, and initiatives

  • Pricing and contract negotiation with prospects and customers
  • Manage relationships and maintain high levels of customer service
  • Develop comprehensive and well-maintained account plans that engages all the necessary resources within the company to maximize our opportunity within the assigned accounts
  • Develop strong trusted advisor and executive-level relationships with key SI, SP, and VAR partners
  • Field inbound calls and leads from various sources and qualify for business potential
  • Conduct a minimum number of online and in-person meetings weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  • Partner with internal and external teams and channels to develop creative technical solutions to improve F5 s footprint and Customer dependent in account
  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of DevOps, Agile Development, Microservices and associated technologies including solutions around API Gateway and Management, CI / CD processes and tools, Service Mesh and Application Security.
  • Understanding or Cloud, Multi Cloud and Hybrid Cloud solutions and the transformation journey customers are currently undertaking
  • Strong team building skills and ability to work with both internal and external stake holders
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with proven ability in solution selling and presentation abilities
  • Ability to present to audiences that may exceed 50 people at events, webinars and internal meetings promoting NGINX, the NGINX community and associated technologies.
  • Advanced client interfacing and customer-focused approach
  • Demonstrated selling skills in a complex matrix environment
  • Demonstrates effective use of internal relationships and resources
  • Strong ability to effectively prioritize workload, develop and lead pipeline and forecasting
  • Ability to provide and work from a home office located within the territory
  • Requires specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably those of F5
  • Qualifications

  • 6+ years of direct work experience partly with associated technologies
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Job may be performed on-site at a customer facility or data center, or in an office environment sitting at a desk or computer table
  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material
  • Duties may require being on call periodically or working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
  • Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane.
