General Summary
Responsible for the demonstration of Product Configuration Application and System Design for the RF Path components to key customer technical teams.
Responsible for management of Applications Engineering & Pre / Post-Sales functions to service product marketplace and enhance CommScope’s technical leadership position with RF products.
This role reports to Manager, Technical Consultant.
Duties & Responsibilities
This position includes, but is not limited to the following :
Develop working relationships with technical teams of our customers / partners and to specify CommScope products and facilitate new product development and introduction / qualification.
Managing / troubleshooting day-to-day field inquires, quality issues from installers / customers and the testing process of CommScope RF path products being field trial / IOT testing by our customers.
Maintain expertise and market presence in network topology, design, and development. Provide guidance to customers regarding cost effective and appropriate technology utilizing the breadth of CommScope Outdoor Wireless Networks products.
Executing sales strategies for advanced network solutions utilizing CommScope RF Products solutions such as Base Station Antennas, TMAs and Combiners and cable portfolio products.
Liaise with engineering and product management to facilitate development of Road Maps & hybrid technologies, where appropriate.
Supporting responses to RFP's / RFI's including the generation of required response data, collection of all required inputs from Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Quality
Provide system design services to customer base utilizing external resources or internal staffing, as appropriate.
Help in defining technical trends analysis in support of Global Marketing and Engineering / Development.
Support in identifying market drivers for the region and support the product development process to meet the local market requirements
Required qualifications & skills :
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5-6 years relevant experience
Analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to articulate complex concepts to a broad range of internal and external audiences.
Proven ability to effectively communicate with several types and levels of staff and external contacts, both in writing and verbally.
Must have effective presentation skills.
Ability to work simultaneously on many priorities, which change frequently.
Assertive, persuasive, and creative problem-solving skills.
