The digital marketing Specialist is responsible for the execution of project tasks for Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization and Social and emerging media.
The position reports to the team lead, Tokyo Production, and works closely with TransPerfect’s APAC digital marketing lead with the creation of best practices and processes for Japanese digital work, assisting with scoping and quoting projects for clients, and coordinating projects among our production teams in Japan.
Assisting with the execution of digital marketing projects and building our global offering locally in Japan according to unique best practices and platforms there :
Assigning and editing project work for SEO, SEM, Social and Emerging Media specific to Japan and a Japanese audience and customers
Reviewing project deliverables and ensuring quality standards and on-time completion
Researching industry trends and tools, and updating and developing internal processes to reflect best practices
Completing client and competitor analysis of SEM, SEO and Social campaigns and assisting with development of client digital strategy and quoting a scope of work
Implementing client digital assets, including trafficking of ads and keywords in Paid Search, Display and Social
Monitoring Paid campaign spend and managing client bids and budgets
Monitoring client campaign performance and preparing reports
Carrying out Japanese SEO, SEM, Social and Emerging Media creative and campaign management work, as needed, as our internal specialist
Assisting with the development of case studies and presentations that illustrate the value of our business group
At least 3 to 5 years of digital marketing experience, working for a client’s internal digital marketing team or in an agency setting specific to Japanese digital marketing
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related discipline
Familiarity with best practices and the latest developments in Paid Search, SEO, Social Media, Mobile and Display advertising, particularly with Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Twitter, LINE, LinkedIn and other platforms relevant to Japan.
Familiarity with Naver, KaKao, Daum and Korean platforms, or Baidu, 360, Weibo, WeChat and platforms in China considered a bonus.
Experience managing campaigns in in these platforms and other digital marketing channels relevant to Japan and helping prepare this information for presentation to information to clients
Comfort and ease with communication
Familiarity with standard performance metrics in digital marketing (impressions, clicks, click-through-rate, conversions, etc.
and reporting formats in various digital channels
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Japanese and in English
Eagerness to work in a dynamic, growing office that collaborates daily with colleagues and clients in multiple locations around the world
Comfort with assigning and explaining complex project tasks to offsite team members and clients
