For those with strong project management experience and an interest in Human Resources, this role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise and passion to a dynamic HR team supporting International retail and corporate businesses.

This role will provide proactive leadership and support across various HR projects and initiatives, ensure clear HR communication including translations of material and drive reporting and action-oriented insights for the HR team.

This individual will optimize systems to ensure productive operations and serve as the go to resource for the team on issues related to Amazon processes and tools.

The ideal candidate will be a very detail oriented, organized planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility.

The candidate will possess the ability to complete high volumes of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision and deadline sensitivity.

A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, the professionalism in dealing with sensitive situations is important.

Knowledge of HR systems and analytical capability is a plus.

Areas of responsibility include, but not limited to :

Manage communications and materials including translation from English to Japanese (and at times from Japanese to English) by ensuring clarity, accuracy and with the right tone.

The materials include training documents, HR communication to business leaders, HR best practices / notes, etc. Assist with the preparation of presentations and narrative documentation requiring auditing and proof reading.

Lead special HR projects, related to diversity, talent & learning development, Connections results (engagement survey) and Employee Relations.

Manage the HR Director’s calendar, ensuring proactive management of priorities and ensuring necessary preparation for upcoming events.

The role also includes arranging international travel and itineraries as well as preparation of expense reports.

Own various ongoing and adhoc reporting and analysis. Data may be related to diversity representation, hires / promotions / transfer / attrition, and initiate discussion with HR team on outliers, concerns, or insights.

Participate in the development of the team’s operational plan and budget. Develop and maintain systems to track headcount and spend against budget and provide oversight and quality assurance to repeatable HR reporting.

Organize HR meetings (including talent meetings, project reviews, operational updates and small scale team events) and provide post-meeting follow-up notes, status updates and ongoing monitoring of project progress.

Handle and lead logistics for offsite meetings and host overseas visitors

Support Learning and Development administration to provide superior employee experience related to trainings such as KNET setup and communications, as well as training feedback analysis and reporting.
