Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a Search Ads Specialist within our Large Customer Sales (LCS) team, you will be supporting and assisting Japanese customers with advertising using Google Search campaigns.

You'll be an expert on Search Ads solutions, tools and frameworks. You’ll drive business growth, and work closely with LCS and agency teams to help customers embrace the mobile shift.

You will work with customers to show them the full value of mobile for their business and advise them on budget allocation, alter bids and improving adoption of advanced features on search.

This is a client-facing role that involves pitching new business and providing implementation, and optimization consultation on all things mobile.

You'll leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate, and persuade customers to embrace the mobile opportunity for their business, from driving increased quality to measuring and optimizing their marketing investments with Google.

Working closely with clients, you will ensure that they achieve their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through advertising and are using the correct mix of tracking and attribution to drive optimal performance.

In this role, you will learn how to best utilize Search products to drive performance and will become the trusted advisor both for the customer and Google industry managers and account managers.

You'll develop your skills by staying on top of the latest training and material, and interacting with global experts on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

  • Grow Google Search business for Japan market.
  • Identify new opportunities to increase customer marketing on Search efficiently.
  • Build relationships with Industry Managers, Account Managers, Industry Heads and Country Managers to drive Search business strategy for the country and region.
  • Simplify and package Search Ads offerings for customers and serve as a liaison with vertical teams and customers regarding new product launches.
  • Work with the Product team, support their strategies, provide them with feedback and formulate product asks relevant to Japan market needs.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and cross-border teams.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese fluently and idiomatically.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • MBA.
  • Experience working and advising customers on their search strategy.
  • Product knowledge in the digital marketing area, with a focus on performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decision makers (C-level executives) by using consultative skills and building client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze complex advertiser performance data through tools such as Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Demonstrated strategic, creative and analytical capabilities balanced with a readiness to roll-up sleeves to drive success / impact.
