  • Main Responsibilities

    This role serves as a Compensation Specialist to all levels of leadership and staffs in Japan, and collaborates with the HR team in both local and APAC for compensation related projects and daily administration.

    This position is responsible for annual compensation review, total reward management, global mobility and supporting other HR members.

    This incumbent must maintain the highest possible standard of integrity, equity, and confidentiality of financial information, insurance and litigation documents, employee information and other sensitive and confidential information.

    This incumbent should have growth mindset and potential for people manager.

    The Compensation Specialist will develop and maintain plan documentation for annual compensation plans, and support annual merit and incentive program cycles, salary planning and bonus cycles.

    Other Responsibilities

  • HR Operation : Manage employee information in global HR system (Workday).
  • Lead or support Employee survey as a representative of Japan
  • Review and renew Company Regulations
  • Expectations;
  • Open to accept new roles and challenges beyond the main responsibilities.
  • HR expert who has knowledge of local labor practice and market trend.
  • Required Experience;
  • Minimum of 7 years in HR with 3+ years in compensation

    Experience with Workday or other global HR system for over 2 years

    Experience to work in global project as the representative of Japan

    Understanding payroll, tax and insurance

  • Required Knowledge & Skills;
  • Business level English in writing, listening and speaking (TOEIC 800+)

    Deep understanding of Compensation and Japanese Labor Law

    Strong Presentation and negotiation skills

    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    Intermediate skill level with Excel, Word and Power Point software applications

    Solid analytical skills with proven independent judgement

    Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

    Strong oral and written communications skills

    Serve as a change agent; change agile

    Bachelor's degree or above
