You will serve as a DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST in the DIRECTORATE OF CLINICAL SUPPORT SERVICES of US NMRTC OKINAWA JA.

You will operates an ultrasound scanning system with transcutaneous and endocavitary transducers to perform all requested sonographic examinations.
You will confers with radiologists to establish requirements of nonstandard examinations.
You will record pertinent information to facilitate diagnosis and reporting per standard department policy
You will adhere to disinfection protocols for ultrasound probes. Evaluates equipment performance, ensures preventative maintenance is done, recognizes equipment problems and quickly initiates orders for repairs.
You will assist the radiologist in procedures such as ultrasound guided injections, fine needle aspiration and / or biopsy, percutaneous abscess drainage, and fluid localization.
