Account Manager Japan, Estane(R) Engineered Polymers
The purpose of this role is to deliver value to customers by providing service in commercial skills ensuring sustained growth of profitable sales which are aligned with our areas of market focus.
Contacts assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell Lubrizol’s TPU products in the designated territory or by nature of customers.
Focuses on personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems.
REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS :
o Bachelors degree, advantage for chemical & polymer related major, 3 10 years experience in chemical field and minimum 3 years of professional sales experience in chemical industry
o Prefer experience and understanding about plastics and rubber processing and products
o Fluent English language ability in both writing and speaking
o Challenge the status quo
o Prefer to understand and experience in consumer electronics or automotive industry value chains
o External customer relations experience in sales, customer service, or technical service.
o Willing and able to travel 60% of the time (3 days per week on average)
o Presentation and computer data handling & documentation skills.
o Tactical and strategic thinking and business acumen skills.
o Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
o Excellent interpersonal abilities and a strong drive for results.
o Demonstration of success in implementing new business, project management and value selling programs.
