Job Purpose and Impact

Department : Cargill Texturizing Solutions

Products : Solbitol, Sugar Alchol, Modified Starch, Hydrocolloid etc.

The Key Account Manager will participate in face-to-face and remote selling to our new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels.

We seek a results-oriented professional who will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Development and delivery of sales proposals and conducting detailed presentations for effective product demonstration.
  • Build a business plan for each account developing strong client relationships.
  • Plan daily activities, including customer visits and establish quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
  • Follow market and competition evolution, relaying information to senior staff.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Japanese communication skill (verbal / written) at native level
  • English communication skill (verbal / written) at business level
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • More than 10 years experience in Sales, preferably, of modified starch or other food ingredients.
  • Speciality product sales skills
  • Product knowledge of specialities in Beverages, Bakery, Noodle, and Sauces
