The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join us in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you will guide sales activities for the telco and internet service provider (ISP) industry and serve as an enterprise sales account manager for your assigned accounts.
You'll promote sales, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage booking numbers. As a Sales Account Manager, you will develop and maintain relationships within these accounts and work to sell Red Hat’s solutions.
We'll need you to have excellent communication skills in order to establish good relationships with your assigned accounts' decision-makers.
You’ll also need to understand customers’ issues and demonstrate how Red Hat's offerings and solutions can resolve them.
Primary job responsibilities
Achieve sales goals
Sell Red Hat’s offerings or services to Rakuten and ISPs
Establish a strategic partnership with customers on different levels of their organizations while understanding their business needs and presenting solutions to address them
Create strategic plans to develop new accounts and expand existing accounts
Understand customer business, product requirements, and industry challenges
Collaborate with Red Hat’s solutions architects, overlay structures, and insides sales representatives
3+ years of experience selling complex IT solutions to large organizations and multiple decision-makers; expertise and business understanding of the telco industry
Understanding of sales cycle management and how to guide deals to closing
Excellent communication skills to develop relationships with decision-makers
Strategic mindset with a successful record of developing account strategies
Good leadership skills and the ability to create a vision for your accounts and inspire your account team colleagues
Native-level Japanese skills
Solid motivation to learn about sales, solutions, and English
Experience with middleware offerings and enterprise business applications is a plus
