Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for a Second Level Operations Specialist that will be responsible for reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support than offered by the 1st level Operations.

This person shall ensure that the services provided to Japanese Major telecom operator are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.

You will

  • Help with Assurance support activities, incident management
  • Assist with Problem management, system administration
  • Work with Billing operations
  • Work as interface between customer and Ericsson Distributed Team
  • Work with Ericsson Distributed team remotely or have business trip to Ericsson global Sites.
  • To be successful in the role you must have

  • More than 5 years' proven experience in Telecom industry
  • Bachelor Degree in engineering (IT, Telecom)
  • 3+ years’ experience of deploy system test and lead testing team
  • Good communication in written and spoken English, Japanese is preferable
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain experience in one of the following areas : Cloud, Packet Core, UDM, IMS / VoLTE, HSS, or RAN related. Most interested in PS / IP.
  • Domain experience in one of the following areas : Server, Database, etc. Most interested in UNIX skills.
  • IoT experience or at least understanding the concepts / business models.
