As a solution consultant, you will work with sales for the pharmaceutical company's customers, directly approaching to customers for the value of Veeva's industry cloud application to solve their business challenges.
You will be in charge of data-related products in Veeva Commercial Cloud, i.e. Data Warehouse, Master Data Management, Territory Alignment, Jitsushoka systems and more, that are tightly integrated with the rest of Commercial Cloud products including CRM.
We will explain and demonstrate products, conduct PoCs, and offer proposals to create new sales opportunities and win new subscription contracts.
The solution consultant manages and coordinate proposal activities with proposal team including sales, services, and product departments.
What You'll Do
In charge of pharmaceutical companies (foreign and domestic), explain and promote the characteristics and value of Veeva Commercial data-related products in both technology and business while understanding customer strategies and business issues, and win new contracts in cooperation with sales.
Provide information and proposals not only to acquire new customers but also to promote the use of Veeva products to existing customers and promote additional subscription contracts and product additional contracts.
Lead in building a demonstration environment for Veeva products, creating and implementing product descriptions and customized demos for specific customers.
Cooperate with Veeva's internal related departments, especially sales, product and professional services departments, to smoothly share customer information, acquire the latest product information, develop and update the demonstration environment, and make proposals.
Exchange information with overseas SC departments to share and use the latest product demonstrations, proposals, etc.
Cooperate with sales team and other internal departments to plan activities to establish and maintain good relationships with customers and support coaching and implementation to members.
Collect information about customer's requests and issues by providing information and proposals to customers, share them with related departments, and cooperate in strengthening products.
10 -15 years of pre-sales for enterprise applications in commercial sales area
5+ years of technical experience (pre-sales, architects, consultant, analyst, professional services) with data-related products (DWH, MDM, BI, ETL, or Data Provider)
Solution selling, demo construction and implementation
Collaboration with other teams and members (especially sales)
Intermediate SQL knowledge
Fluent in both Japanese and English
