You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies.

Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis.

You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of key clients.

Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

The Accelerator team owns the mission to light the spark of digital transformation in large ad investors with high potential in Large Customer Sales (LCS).

As the Account Manager on the Accelerator team, you will develop and manage relationships directly with top advertisers in Japan.

In this role, you will multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will be an advisor and consultant, as well as an advocate for clients within Google.

You will use your analytical skills to grow existing business, develop and obtain new business, and support your team with account and market knowledge and other collateral.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands.

We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms.

We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers. Identify and solve client problems proactively and creatively.
  • Build relationships with customers and educate them on new product features.
  • Learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to optimize client campaign results.
  • Optimize keyword lists and ads in order to maximize advertisers' return on investment.
  • Leverage all available resources including optimization, marketing, and technical support. Identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of account management, sales, or marketing experience.
  • Ability to speak and write in Japanese and English fluently.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience working in online ad sales, business-development, marketing, and / or consulting sales.
  • Ability to deliver results and client services in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly complete a large volume of work.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
