The Data Science and AI Department, Voice AI Section is leading the transformation of Rakuten by igniting Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Computing and Voice Technologies adoption across the company.
The team is capturing both business needs and the most advance technological tools on the market to build scalable Voice AI platform to empower the Rakuten Ecosystem businesses worldwide.
Content Specialists are responsible for providing our businesses with guidance on how to write content for their virtual assistant.
Content Specialists work with customers from many different industries Rakuten own including telecoms, finance, media, etc.
The position requires to support the businesses on implementing improvements to their content. Content Specialists analyze how each virtual assistant is performing using analytics tools and you will report on what content changes can be made in order to improve overall performance.
This position uses NLU / dialog management tools to improve the natural language understanding of the AI virtual assistants.
Uses NLU / Dialog analytics tools to identify and consider from quality aspect of content gaps, trends and patterns in virtual assistant conversations and updates the content accordingly
Reads virtual assistant conversations and analyzes the performance of the virtual assistant on a regular basis.
Participates in building virtual assistants, determining what questions the virtual assistant should answer and how to answer them
Investigates and diagnoses the right action to be taken to improve virtual assistant responses.
Engages with content writers and business analysts on the business side to ensure that the virtual assistant remains knowledgeable and effective.
Modifies, tests and publishes content
Improves natural language understanding virtual assistants using NLU / Dialog management tools
Contributes to the improvement of processes and to the improvement of the product by sharing experiences and ideas
Knowledge, skills and qualifications
Education : Bachelor of Linguistics or equivalent
Minimum years of work experience : 3+
Required skills :
Experience with dialog or Voice User Interface design
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Customer service experience, you are a people person
Strong analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to do detailed analysis of virtual assistant performance and trends
Content management experience
Excellent spelling and grammar
Highly detail-oriented and computer literate
Fluency in English
Fluency in Japanese, preferably native speaker
Experience with Natural Language Understanding is a plus
Preferred skills :
Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
