With this growing demand in the renewable energy sector in Japan, we have an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Tokyo.

In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of projects from a project management and / or technical perspective supporting clients on our technical advisory, owner’s engineering and lender’s engineering services.

You will work on solar and wind projects ranging in scale from a few MW to several hundred MW. Projects will be located in Japan and across the Asia -Pacific region.

This role is Tokyo based but may require some travel (restrictions permitting)

この仕事ではプロジェクトマネジメントや技術的な観点からプロジェクト実施を担当し技術アドバイザリーやオーナーズエンジニアレンダーのエンジニアリングのサービスでクライアントをサポートします担当するのは数MWから数百MW規模の太陽光発電や風力発電プロジェクトで日本やアジア太平洋地域で実施されます

東京拠点の仕事ですが出張の可能性もあります制約上問題のない場合

Candidate Specification

Certification as an Electrical Engineer in Japan and an electrical engineering degree.

At least 2 years’ experience in the Japanese power industry either in operations, contracting, design or consultancy.

Fluent Japanese with a basic to intermediate level of English with a desire to improve.

Project management capabilities and strong familiarity with Japanese grid code, standards and recommended practices

Support and develop other team members to deliver high quality work.

Proactive, team player with good interpersonal skills.

Experience in undertaking owner’s engineering or lender’s engineering assignments for solar PV or wind projects would be advantageous.

日本の電気技術者関連の資格を保有し電気工学の学位を取得している

日本の電力業界で運転建設設計コンサルタントのいずれかで2年以上の経験がある

日本語が堪能で英語力は初級から中級レベルで向上心のある方

プロジェクト管理能力と日本のグリッドコード規格推奨技術に非常に精通している方

クオリティーの高いサービスを提供するために他のチームメンバーをサポートし育成することが出来る方

積極的で対人関係能力が優れているチームでの仕事が得意な方

太陽光発電や風力発電プロジェクトのオーナーズエンジニアやレンダーのエンジニアリングの担当経験があれば有利
