The Manager of Innovating Marketing for Dr. Ci : Labo contributes grow and evolve Dr. Ci : Labo brand equity to become No.

1 Derma cosmetics brand in Japan, in Asia and in the world. The role develops and delivers competitive and cutting-edge derma inspired innovation and key assets across the markets.

The role develops brand strategy in long-term to realize the right portfolio and right financial performance for sustainable and profitable growth.

This role reports to Innovation Marketing Director in Dr. Ci : Labo Japan and this innovation marketing team entirely is belonging to J&J Skin health regional team.

This role will closely work with local multi-functional team such as R&D, Acquisition / Retention Marketing and Omni-channel selling functions.

This position will be responsible for :

1.Brand Equity, Innovation and Portfolio

  • Develop strategy for long-term innovation plans to enhance brand equity and business.
  • Understand Consumer insight, derm insight and category trend
  • Develop and test the concept
  • Build the business case with the commercial team
  • Design the product and brief to R&D team
  • Design and test the package
  • Provide project management, manage stakeholders (Japan, Singapore region, global and cross functional team)
  • 2.Key New Product Asset Delivery

  • Develop the communication and visual partnering with creative agency
  • Develop product’s science story, demo and claim with R&D team
  • 3.Growth Profit management

  • Optimize the portfolio mix, revenue growth management and financial structure
  • 4.Organization building

  • Enhance product development process and marketing capability of team.
  • 5.Others

  • Partner on the external innovation, tech enablers, non-product innovations and Healthcare Professionals
  • Qualifications

  • A BA degree is required. Master in business or marketing specialization preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of progressive experience in related area such as FMCG brand management in Multinational Company or product development in FMCG.
  • Skin Health or Beauty category experience is preferred.
  • Experience leading cross functional teams is required.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen is required.
  • Fluent in Japanese and business English is required.
