JOB SUMMARY :
Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation is looking for a Global Outsourcing Strategy and Process Improvement Manager who is responsible to develop and implement global outsourcing strategies across aircraft design life cycle considering supplier region, competencies, and capabilities to meet the SpaceJet program s objectives and milestones.
This position is responsible for strategic evaluation, financial evaluation, value assessment, due diligence in the framework of SpeaceJet program s Engineering, Customer Support, and IT related service outsourcing matters.
Develop a deep understanding of MITAC s business and workforce strategies, and combine that knowledge with an understanding of industry standards to develop SpaceJet Outsourcing strategy and improved processes that can be applied to MITAC s global operations spans out to 3 different geological locations (Japan, US, and Canada) to achieve established program objectives.
Facilitates new strategic partnerships and maintains relationships with qualified domestic and global suppliers that have high potential under company's contracting & outsourcing needs.
Collaborate with Contract Administration Manager with drafting, negotiating, executing, tracking and archiving vendor agreements in accordance to MITAC standards and processes.
Collaborate with Global Outsourcing managers with development ofglobal outsourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.
Provide guidance regarding industry best practices, policies, internal controls and standards with a pragmatic and viable solution to address opportunities and process re-engineering.
Conduct analysis of existing processes, documentation needs, internal controls, interdependencies and integration weaknesses to identify opportunities for improvement, non-value added steps, inconsistencies, redundancies and other impediments.
Work with other group managers to ensure that all outsourcing service providers are in compliance with regulatory standards, ethical practices, MITAC outsourcing and procurement policies and procedures.
Develop and implement Vendor Operation and Process Reviews ensuring uniformity and standardization of Policies and Procedures to implement in the program.
Provide support in Potential Vendor Analysis and Evaluation to assure that activities and decisions are aligned with the overall SpaceJet outsourcing strategy.
Provide guidance on final selection of suppliers; Perform value analysis for final selection of suppliers.
Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models.
Participate in Supplier Performance Review Meeting (SPRM) and Steering Committee meeting as requested.
Bachelor’s degree and at least 5+ years of direct experience in Outsourced Services agreement modeling and consultation preferably within Aircraft or Automotive OEM Engineering and CS service domain.
Ability to both develop strategic sourcing plans and dive deep in contract details with a solid understanding of how gold standard of outsourcing program is developed and implemented.
Ability to challenge conventional thinking, offer unique perspectives and conceive innovative solutions.
Experience managing and administrating global service contracts, using a strategic sourcing methodology, including : opportunity analysis and identification, supplier selection, risk and compliance evaluation, and financial analysis
Self-starter who can build sourcing / procurement credibility within groups not accustomed to working with Outsourcing Service providers.
Effective management of cross-functional, multi-cultural teams and demonstrated ability to work and influence within a matrix structure.
Strong verbal and written skills and ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow.
Proven time management skills and ability to be flexible to meet job demands and take on new initiatives and improvement efforts
Be comfortable and adaptable in the role depending on level of engagement required.
Ability to sustain high levels of performance in a constantly changing environment.
Ability to relocate to Japan initially for a period of 1 year. Maybe assigned and relocated to North American locations after the period.
