Here, you will make an impact by : Product Safety & Conformity Representative (PSCR) - Act as single point of contact for the responsible area and ensuring conformance according to business, regulatory, and customer relevant requirements.
Coordinates assessment of product integrity and safety relevant requirements to VDA and / or IATF 16949 across multiple divisions and manufacturing sites.
Provide oversight of critical to quality attributes throughout product life cycle, from design to manufacturing. This position works with Risk Management Compliance Leader to enforce the Product Safety Escalation Process and ensuring the commercialized product design intent and product integrity is retained as materials, processes, methods, and specifications change Supporting change as it relates to design changes inspired by quality improvement, source of supply changes, or cost reduction efforts Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications : Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Three years of combined experience in a Manufacturing, Production, Quality and / or Laboratory role in a private, public, government or military environment Experience in Automotive Industry Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include : Experience in automotive quality management system (IATF 16949) & (AIAG) Core Tools such as Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
Qualified and experienced in the evaluation of technical product and process risks (e. g., FMEA facilitator, VDA 6.3 process auditor, designer / developer)
