Position at Wavemaker
Wavemaker is looking for a Digital Media Manager to join our team in Tokyo. You will be responsible for delivering best practice client service and market leading work and key person to drive Offline & Online mandatory.
Digital experience would be ideal but having passion to understand it is required.
Build & establish strong relationships with mid- senior stakeholders within the client's business
Leverage all GroupM, and Wavemaker talent, technology, products and services to deliver compelling, innovative and creative solutions for the client.
Understand and evaluate the client's needs so to identify opportunities for additional revenue opportunities.
Business level English (writing / reading / speaking)
3+ years experience of programmatic, EC media planning / execution, buying and reporting in Japan industry. *Operation itself is not required but need the skills of co-working with ops team.
Drive Media Strategy and review, create compelling and strategic media thought pieces on how Digital channels can be used to integrate the consumer journey and being able to define the role of digital at a macro business level.
Offline experience is a plus.
Provide sharper implementation based on local Digital expertise with the team.
Ability to create long term and short term Digital roadmaps for the client and put the necessary steps in place to make them happen.

Support training and workshop for clients when necessary.
Ideal skill is to input into digital strategic roadmap and help improve and develop new products and / or service propositions for client when necessary.
Understanding of multiple digital media channels (online display, video, social, paid search, programmatic, etc.) as well as a passionate following of new / emerging technologies would be ideal.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, being able to confidently and clearly present work to clients, media owners and internal stakeholders
Deep understanding and experience of data analytics and digital reporting by utilizing Google CM, GA or other 3 rd party tracking vendors is preferable.
High level numeracy and analysis skills, to be able to interrogate data and coming out with actionable insights to inform business decisions.
Team management and ability to communicate / share / develop digital planning and buying experience amongst other team members.
Strong commercial acumen & Demonstrated capability to grow a business via external sales or internal stakeholder management
