You will be responsible for targeting new corporations in Japan.
You should be a highly self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record of selling in the business-to-business arena and have the tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and persuasiveness to find the right contact and sell the benefits of our products.
As this role involves selling global solutions to large, multinational companies, you will be skilled in networking within a target company and bringing together the needs of customer personnel into collective service solutions.

To identify new prospects, to create new business within designated sales territory, including :
Understanding the systems and industries being sold to
Cold calling and making initial contacts and introductions to Euromonitor and our range of market analysis products and consulting capabilities
Understanding the structure of target companies to make the most of sales opportunities
Penetrating the companies and networking to all key decision makers and influencers
Giving online demonstrations of our database and related systems to target personnel
Making tailored proposals, negotiating and closing deals
Making face-to-face pitches to key personnel at potential customers in Japan
Working closely with the consulting team in developing customised solutions for clients
At least 3 years of proven experience of business development, market research, consulting, account management and / or industry analyst experience
Strong communication and diplomacy skills
Self-motivated and organised
Proven success in client management and achieving revenue goals
Demonstrable business and consultative and cross-selling acumen
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Language skills : Native Japanese and fluent in English (TOEIC865 or more)
