Data Center Switching Sales Specialist JAPAN
What you'll do
As a Sales Specialist you will join a highly hardworking and result oriented Data Center Sales Team to sell Cisco Data Center products and solutions.
As a Product Sales Specialist for a Data Center switching you will take a leadership role as the technical sales specialist driving Data Center switching and solution sales for multiple verticals and market segments throughout Japan.
In this capacity you will collaborate with the global, APJ regional teams as well as work closely with the Japan Cisco sales and partner teams.
You will also be responsible for the GTM for Cisco’s Data Center networking portfolio across the Japan region.
You will understand, articulate and position both internally and externally Cisco's end-to-end Data Center Architecture, including Unified Computing Systems, Data center Switching and SDN, Data center Software and Multi-Cloud Solutions.
You will develop and cultivate strong relationships with key Data Center decision makers in the market and partner contacts, including ecosystem partners.
As a Product Sales Specialist, you will also be responsible for forecast accuracy related to Data Center opportunities within the assigned territory.
You will define, together, with the account team, the bidding structure and the intelligence needed around our Data Center solutions to provide a winning proposal.
Mentoring Account Managers and Regional Managers to make them more effective in selling Data Center solutions will also be part of your job.

Who you’ll work with
This high profile sales role will require a hunter type individual to work alongside account teams, partners and business units to drive revenue from new & existing Enterprise customers across the Japan region.
This role covers a range of verticals, several of which are narrowly focused for strategic accounts. We are looking for a confident leader with a validated ability to define strategic and bold strategies and go to market plans within large Enterprise customers.
You will play a critical role in enabling Cisco to bring new products to market in both core and adjacent markets. You will be responsible for accurate forecasting of sales activity, exceeding revenue targets, and teaming within a matrixed organization to navigate complex sales cycles.
