F15 Process Integration Senior Manager
As a F15 Process Integration Senior Manager at Micron Technology Inc's Hiroshima Japan, Fab 15 site you will be leading a team who’s responsibility is to partner with process engineering to design, integrate and implement process changes that allow MMJ to achieve its Yield, Quality, Output, and Cost objectives.
You must be able manage a highly technical group that provides and implements high quality solutions to problems in a very fast paced and changing environment.
Teamwork and the ability to communicate very complex problems and issues to both internal and external groups are essential to your success.
Key Job functions and responsibilities :
The Process Integration Section is responsible for the planning and implementation of process changes.
This must be done by characterizing processes through the use of DOE techniques and the efficient use of SWR and conversion methods.
The group must support the analysis of this data to safely implement these changes.
The group is also responsible to provide and implement a road map of process improvements to hit our yield benchmark objectives.
Establish a Vision for the group with the intent of moving the group forward while consistently aligning with corporate, Fab and Team group objectives.
Promote free thinking, careful selection of ideas, and empowering direct reports with challenging projects that are outside their daily activities while mentoring them on how to effectively select, organize and champion those projects.
Drive accountability through clear communication, informal feedback, effective project management and appropriate usage of metrics.
Integrate and play a role along with the fab process ares in Utilizing SPC methods to maintain and improve our inline metrics.
Support defect reduction through Vixx methodology and participation. Also, support and partner with YE / PQA in maintaining and improving defect density to enable backend yield and server eligibility and RMA quality.
Support worldwide meetings and efforts like process review board. PI must utilize GCP system to leverage other fabs process changes and communicate process changes to the world wide community.
Help drive and support various cost and CAU projects in order to maximize fab output and reduce cost through process qualifications and / or process changes.
Manage Fab NPI and Technology Transfers.
Successful candidates must also :
Have excellent understanding of DRAM memory including memory cell operation, chip functionality and operation.
The ability to communicate technical data clearly and concisely both orally and through written reports.
A solid knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes gained through work experience.
Have a good understanding of device physics including resistance, capacitance, diodes, transistor performance (nch and pch).
Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and graphing software.
Be self motivated and innovative

Minimum of >
5 years leadership experience; currently holds position of manager (M1 or above) and
have excellent supervisory and organizational skills with the ability to provide direction for the entire Integration area.
