WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
In this role, you will be part of the leadership team, driving sales expansion and accessibility plan to fit to our future strategic direction.
You will report to the Managing Director of Japan and Korea Consumer Goods Business but need to partner closely with the Sales Director in Japan and the Global CGB Distribution network to be in line with our global strategy.
Provide and summarize relevant market information (retail environment, benchmarks) in line with global guidelines
Translate our global strategy to market relevant Japan distribution plan, with the right channel mix.
Manage a network of real estate agents and other relevant distribution contacts in shopping centers, department stores.
Evaluate available locations. Prepare, submit and drive the full business plan (Store Evaluation Plan) supported by the local Sales team, Retail Architecture team and market cluster MD.
Manage negotiations for new locations, lease renewals, improve existing terms and conditions and handle related legal documents.
Work closely with sales team and market cluster MD to successfully close negotiations. Collaborate with global competence center for defined key landlords.
Work closely with Central Distribution team to ensure alignment with global framework, direction and financial targets.
Supports the yearly local roll out plan in cooperation with central Distribution team based on the local Distribution Master Plan and received CAPEX framework.
Collaborate with Retail Architecture team by supporting on landlord negotiation, providing feedback on store design, layout, furniture usage, cost and timeline from an operational & business perspective.
Ensure Landlord facilities meet Swarovski requirements
Support partner (IR and MUB) recruitment and evaluation.
Support discussion of 3-way contracts (Swarovski, independent retailers and landlords).
WHAT WE EXPECT
You are someone with a strong entrepreneurial and business development mindset, possess effective negotiation skills and analytical skills.
You are someone who love relationship building and is able to manage multiple stakeholders
You have at least 8 years working in a retail or real estate industry, possessing a good network in at least one or more distribution shopping centers, department store and real estates.
You can speak proficiently in English and Japanese
