Job Description

Taylor & Francis Japan is looking for a Sales and Customer Services Coordinator to support in our sales team. You will be helping to improve the sales process, customer account records and work processes towards a more automated approach.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Handle customer inquiries and troubleshoot customer problems
  • Providing administrative support to sales department
  • Maintaining collaborative relationship with external sales agents to support their sales activities
  • Generate reports that assist in sales analysis and account management processes
  • Update vendor and / or customer databases
  • Prepare sales materials for vendors and sales when required
  • Gather and disseminate sales data for monthly reports
  • Pre and Post-sales support functions - Support the sales team by working with internal systems to provide reporting, sales invoices and information on a regular basis
  • Support field based and in-house sales colleagues
  • Maintaining the customer information on online product accounts (online journals, eBooks, online references) and CRM
  • Liaising with Customer Service and Tech teams on any customer issues
  • Assisting sales reps in quoting and ordering process, using excel and CRM
  • Recording and maintaining the sales records on CRM
  • Providing cover for, and assistance to, sales reps as required
  • Data entry as necessary
  • Ad hoc tasks assigned, where necessary
  • Qualifications

    What we’re looking for :

  • Native level of writing / speaking Japanese language skill as a must
  • Good command of English in both written and speaking (business level)
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Power Point and Excel required
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Demonstrate initiative and be self-starting
  • Strong presentation skill
