You will be responsible for :
Implementing, maintaining and validating AI models with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) for the Japan market
Creating commercially valuable IP by sourcing data sets and combining them with company available data
Incorporating NLP technologies such as Word-Sense disambiguation, Summarization, Topic modelling, Question and Answer etc.
Acquiring open-source and proprietary NLP data and preparing them for model training.
Leading, training and guiding internal stakeholders
Collaborating with relevant team members to bring analytical rigour and statistical methods to the challenges of predicting behaviours.
You possess an advanced degree, BSc, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics or related fields.
You have at least 3 years of experience within a Data Scientist role, with a good grasp of statistics & machine learning techniques.
You possess strong knowledge of Python, Pytorch and TensorFlow.
Basic knowledge of software engineering (git, DevOps processes, etc.), REST APIs, building knowledge graphs would be preferred.
You are proficient in Japanese and English, both written and spoken, to liaise with internal teams
You are a driven individual with exceptional problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
You thrive on teamwork and have a knack for driving impact and growth
You can communicate mathematical concepts clearly and simply to a layman audience
You have an interest in Design Thinking and Agile Development Methodologies and are open to international business and cross-cultural experiences.
