Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

The gPS Media Operations (MediaOps) team partners with the Large Customer Sales (LCS) team to provide product and data-driven expertise to our customers, helping them meet their business goals.

MediaOps teams enables customer success by solving problems and scaling solutions, incubating new Google products and sharing user feedback with product / engineering teams to influence product development.

gTech MediaOps team provides deep and specialized focus across Google Ads products and supports these products with optimization and analysis.

As a MediaOps Display Specialist, you will manage the Display strategy for key clients across the business cycle and bring One Display leveraging both Google Display Ads and Google Marketing Platform to our clients.

You will demonstrate client and stakeholder management, and act as an advisor and consultant that works across functions and alongside global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build a deep understanding and specialism of Google Display Ads
  • Grow successful partnerships with the co-located Large Customer Sales teams and clients
  • Ideate and establish solutions leveraging Google Display Ads that solve for CBOs. Partner with the Programmatic Account Strategist (PAS) team to help clients fully utilize the efficiencies across Google Display Ads
  • Test and scale new product launches and collaborate in building product and solution expertise through product trainings / workshops for internal and / or external practitioners.
  • Build robust processes and tools to ensure Google Display Ads can be serviced in the most efficient manner

  • Anticipate growth challenges and identify opportunities / programs that need to be initiated. Manage day to day stakeholders and operations with limited guidance
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with managing digital marketing campaigns, online measurement and operations driving customer impact
  • Experience with pitching digital solutions to clients or direct sales experience
  • Ability to speak and write in Japanese and English fluently and idiomatically
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Understanding of digital marketing, optimization and analytical or industry and product experience outside Google in Digital Media agencies / e-commerce companies
  • Demonstrated success on projects. Ability to independently lead, communicate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and work effectively with global teams.
  • Attention to detail with a startup mentality

  • Ability to work with large data sets and convert the data into compelling insight or narrative with slides / visuals for consumption of sales teams, clients or leadership
  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with teams across Google and influence them through expertise and reliability
